We know for the fact that college level is a very important stage of the students. This level of education is the preparation stage for future career in the corporate world. In college years the students are trained on their field of specialization that can be applicable when they got to be employed to a certain institution or company. So, career education is a very important learning stage. Choosing a carer course is the most crucial part of the student’s life. Since, the career course that students choose is the guiding way of its life time career. So, we must think and consider several factors upon choosing a career course. Upon making such decision, it involves lots of thinking, planning, and evaluation.
In making a career decision you must undergo five process of decision making. The first process is exploration of one’s self. In this level, you will journey into self discovery. It means discovery your potential, abilities, the things you love to do, qualities and the areas were you excel. Try also to see the areas where you are weak. Second level is to gather information regarding different career course. Having information about with every career course will give you a hint which you like the most and best suited your personality. Third level is the comparison. With the different information you gathered try to unravel them compare them. Try to see to yourself which of this career course you like the most and best suited to your self. Try to see the pros and cons of every career courses. Fourth ask opinion from other people or you’re a guidance counsellor. Ask their opinion on what is the career course best suited for you. Fourth is to choose a career course. In this level you going to select which among the career courses you like the most. Fifth level is to take action. When you already, have chosen your career course you will action on it by enrolling to that career course you want to take.
