The Local Educational Learning Districts Exceeded their State ACT Scores

ExamToday the State Department Education have statically released the numbers of high school graduates of 2009 from the Class of Oconee and to Pickens counties that surpasses to its state and towards national composite average for this ACT college entrance examination. Its also indicated that the South Carolina public high school graduates have achieve a composite scores for 19.7 with an 18.9 English, about 19.9 in Math and 19.7 each for this reading and science field. These 19.7 composite scores towards this public high school graduates will remain unchanged from this year ago. However, this high school graduates of Oconee County’s Class of 2009 have already achieve a 21.3 composite score with an score of 20.7 of English field, 21.5 in Math field, about 21.4 in reading and 21.0 in science field. Meanwhile the Pickens county’s in 2009 class have already achieve a composite score that is 22.6 with its individual scoring of 22.4, in English field of 22.2, about 22.2 in Math while 22.9 in Reading and about 22.3 in Science field.

Its been considered that this ACT is one of the predominant college entrance examination in the United States while this College Board’s SAT entirely dominates some other half. Since, this ACT is just a test of curriculum bases and even classroom achievement. Meanwhile, the SAT is implied as learning test that will measure of how learners think based on its experiences that is both in and even out of its classroom settings. The entire South Carolina colleges and universities will accepts either of the two the ACT or SAT that scores for its admission. The Oconee County District Superintendent is quite pleased for the education program district performance especially that it ranked ninth among its states 85 educational learning institutes and as a result this district wide science scoring was considered as the 11th best of its state. With that, the School District of Oconee country have already met or even exceeded to its national average in the field of Math, Reading, English, Science, and to its Composite scoring with its scores that increase the school district learners in the field of Math and Science.

Meanwhile, the Seneca high school and Walhalla high school also exceeded in their state and towards the national average in the entire subject areas while this Tamassee Salem high have also exceeded in their state and to its national average in field of English. It’s been estimated that about 238 Oconee country learners took this ACT this year. Daniel, Easley, and Pickens also exceeded on its state and national average and only liberty school got below on its state average. It’s quite clear already that Pickens County Superintendent Henry Hunt is quite indicative of its strong instructional high schools program. This result is just an effect of quality instructions that educators or teachers provided that resulted of gaining students achievement.
