Churchill County School Board have just recently approve the school district usage of this web based anywhere learning system setting last Thursday upon creating an online education program in the upcoming academic school year. According to Superintendent Carolyn Ross that this program offering provides a free web based educational program towards those learners who can’t able to join regular schooling due the aspect that they will be needing an alternative educational program especially to those individuals who have live outside their respective homes, been expelled from school, those who have academically dropped out, been out of school due to medical reasons, those individuals that needs remediation or for some other reasons. Steve Leitz stated that this online education program particularly online degree program offers an individualize system plan for various learners and provides them everything that been needed upon meeting a new state of standards and towards those graduate individuals. Leitz added that they will be offering an individual system of learning plan for the entire students. In which, you can entirely use this system program as to continually serve lots of learners. The program coordinator who is Jacquelyn Burger have already uses this online education program upon her credit recovery program in the Churchill County High School stated that students were still been required to come up a Measures for the Academic Progress and for their proficiency testing. Burger stated that in the fiscal year of 2009-2010, about 300 learners have graduated through their current educational program. Ross added that about 30% of its learners have already touched its program.
Ross stated that this program will serve as a good support for the school district upon earning more finances through this Distributive School Account Funding due to the mere fact that in every year, those students who have dropped out from their schooling will be seeking more convenient forms as they will be back their academic education. She also added that last year about 60 students have left the school district as they will be entering into the charter school that is about $350,000 less than of DSA school funding. Burger added this educational program serve as crucial aspect in the nation condition and there will be a tendency of losing for a mere amount of one third of their population especially that these kids will entirely be leaving their school district. Sue Sevon who assists the school district assignment had added that they might be able of charging a financial fee for future service. Sevon added that most individuals are very much willing to pay about $50 for their online education program.
